Delaney napping.
Emerson giving Delaney her first bath. Ellis hanging out of the bassinet.

Pictures of Ellis.
Emerson napping with her brother in the bassinet.

The great thing about bottles is daddy feeding the twins during dinner prep and at midnight so mom can sleep. What a great dad these kids have.

Emerson with the last rose of the season, playing dressing up and playing drums with dad.

Ellis wakes up slowly, drinks his bottle casually and rarely needs to burp. He can sleep 5 hours at a time and hangs out looking around at everything when he's awake.

Delaney wakes up ready to eat (basically screaming for food). She eats ravenously and then burps like a sailor (often finishing off with a good puke), then eats some more. She "held" her bottle by herself so that I could feed Ellis.

A little tummy time for the babies. They are already holding their heads up a lot (making burping a bit difficult since they bobble around a lot).

They are so peaceful when they're asleep. Now for a little more of this at night.

Ellis is all boy. He is busy kicking and squirming while he is awake and has a big appitite. He wasn't very happy about hanging out in a pink blanket, but at least it was clean.

Delaney has been very sweet. She already smiles a lot and even has a little giggle after she eats and is falling asleep (I know its probably gas, but its really adorable anyway).

Emerson has been a fantastic big sister, and we are still enjoying some fun time together.

Well, the Sawyer twins are almost 3 weeks old, and they have been great. Eating well, sleeping as good as babies sleep at night and they are very easy to console. Emerson has been a fantastic big sister, helping out with the babies and being very gentle and patient (especially when mom can't do something immediately). We are all very happy and enjoying our new family.
