Emerson had a sweet day enjoying the outdoors.

Delaney LOVED the mountains. She giggled when the wind blew her hair, she had a great time. She got to dip her toes in the stream, but the lake was too cold, so she hung out on the sandy beach, while Ellis slept.

Poor baby Ellis - didn't feel so great. He took a nice little high mountain nap, while Delaney and Emerson played by Summit Lake.

Delaney and Ellis opening their nightlight turtle and ladybug presents (which Emerson "traded" for her turtle). They love these at night and lay in bed pointing at the stars on the ceiling. Delaney liked Emerson's pumpkin pie pudding with whipped cream (and sprinkles of course), much less than Ellis. Delaney just finger painted with hers, while Ellis found every possible way to get more in his mouth. Happy 1 year old birthday babies. We love you very much and glad we all survived the year.

Emerson's party hat/sand bucket. Ellis got a guitar from Nanna and Delaney got an adorable dress. It was nice to have a visit on their birthday.

1st birthday party in Vail - Angel food cake, whipped cream and sprinkles (applied by Emerson). Delaney took most of Ellis' cake before he knew what was happening. Then we played in the children's fountain and enjoyed a beautiful Colorado day.

Spaghetti is Ellis' new favorite dinner. My sweetest boy.

Delaney is so big, she drinks from a cup now (then throws it on the floor). She loves hide and seek, peek a boo, apples, and her big sister. She is not sure about being 1 yet.

Ellis loves to eat the apples right off the tree (and off the ground). He also loved playing in the water, and having goofy faces (and hair)
