Cuddly Ellis

Forgot to post these pictures of Delaney online.

Delaney doing what Delaney loves best, jumping and swinging and moving and playing and anything but fussing is good...She is so adorable and sweet, until she starts yelling at you (like mother like daughter.)

Emerson sharing her playdough with Ellis. She kept saying "aren't you so proud of me?" since we are always encouraging sharing. Ellis loved sitting up in the pink chair and all the bright colors but didn't understand the whole thing (luckily we aren't at the putting things in our mouths stage). He went on to something requiring a lot less physical dexterity - just looking out the window is fun too.

Emerson in her beautiful new Christmas clothes. A suede jacket, sassy kittens shirt and matching flare pants (I used to think that they were bell bottoms, but was corrected by my 5 year old niece).

Dora Bandaids are good for whatever ails you...well maybe not chapped lips as someone found out after it was already too late.

A special present made by all the grandkids.

Cousins - Delaney, Ashley, Isabell, Brynnah, Molly, Emerson, Allison and Ellis

Uncle Ryan and Ellis

Emerson helped the babies open their presents. Very much needed diapers and formula, stuffies and teethers. Thank you. Apparently Delaney didn't get what she wanted, already disenchanted with Christmas (or possibly the photo shoot)...

Emerson loved all of her presents. She got so many wonderful things - beautiful clothes, pizza party, picnic set, cupcakes and cookies, gourmet lollypops, some great new DVDs, and a drum machine (a gift from dad, because he wanted to play it - which is how dad's pick out toys. I guess its more exciting than mom buying PJs and socks because you need them...). Santa also brought a box of dog biscuits for Mingus. Thank you everyone. We had a wonderful Christmas.

Emerson stacked her stuffed animals really big and then drank some yummy hot cocoa. She loved it, although you probably could tell that from the "milk drinking" grin. Also, the mug wording does not apply to Em...she is bossy, but the "world's best boss" would be pushing it.

Boys and their toys - a vintage Lionel train set. Ellis is fascinated.

Emerson loves her babies. She is so good with them and loves to cuddle them. Notice how she is "cuddling" Ellis' head in both pictures so that he would look at the camera. In the picture with all three of them, the babies were making baby noises (somewhat in protest of the photo shoot) and Emerson suggested that there were speaking Spanish.

Emerson recently decided that she likes dressing up like a princess and dancing like a ballerina. Delaney is less amused with being dressed up.
