Most girls have to wait until they are at least 16 to drive much less own their own car. But as always, Emerson is advanced for her age. She likes giving her bunny a ride.

Emerson's dog bone cake that she has been talking about for months.

She loves the donuts, the dog bone cookies, the markers and color books from Grandma and grandpa. The "3" shirt is also a big hit, although she hasn't come around to saying that she is more than 2 1/2 (already in getting older denial).

Just what she always wanted, a stick...

Nanna came for a visit and there was lots of playtime in the garden.

Mom and the kids all cuddling in the rocking chair (yes, its a little crowded, but who's complaining). Emerson is getting a little bored with feeding her "brothersister" as she calls them.

The Sawyer family spent a beautiful 75* autumn day on a farm picking out pumpkins, checking out the farm animals and getting vegetables. Emerson found a huge pig which she loved to watch root its nose to make a sleeping hole. She also enjoyed some chocolate pudding while she watched a "chicken" that jumped up and crowed loudly (it was a roster) when she got too close. We took a hay ride into the field to get the pumpkins and mom and dad "wore" the twins, who thankfully slept through it all. Notice Emerson's beautiful "pumpkin picking dress", I have been trying to get her to wear since last fall. When we got home everyone had a nap, and then Emerson and Mom made a great harvest vegetable soup and crossiants for dinner (yum).
